How to chat in orkut?

1. how to directly chat in orkut. I chat with using scraps , I send scraps then he And I have to refresh the window every time to use it but once I saw a small window opening there was a chat option . But it only open when i Chat with gtalk. Pleas give suggestions to chat smoothly.





2. how can i write in italics . Do i need to insert the command [i] every time or there is simpler way that i can change colour , style or insert emoticons without using that difficult commands?
How to chat in orkut?
In orkut you can chat by activating the chat facility in the settings.





You have to allow the caht for the friends with whom you have to chat...





Then ask them to activate the chat at first..





then you can chat as in google talk..





if you chat in orkut then no history of the chat will be saved..





You cannot do text styles but you can send emotes...
Reply:Now orkut has a new feature of chat. Once you log in click on then Home tab. Besides your E-Mail Id you can see a green circle. that mean you are online ( which is obvious). If not and you have grey circle with cross then click on it and click on "Avalable". Then click on any of your friend having a green circle and start chating.
Reply:go to orkut and there in righthand side top one blank box is there next to logout "Search Orkut" in that type orkut help or only help and click enter you will get lot of communities on this and there this question disscussed lot of time or you may ask there..
