Hi can any1 help me in opening orkut from my school wi-fi connection its blocked when ever i am opening orkut?
I know you don't want to hear this, but you shouldn't even try because that is against the acceptable use policy at your school. They have sites blocked for safety and security reasons.
Trying to bypass their security is considered hacking and will get you banned from using any of their computers and probably even suspended or expelled.
They can see and track everything you do so you WILL get caught. Not being able to use the computers at all would suck way worse than just using them to view allowed sites - wouldn't it?
But go ahead and post all the proxies you can think of here so we know the new ones to block. Thanks for making it easy for us admins to keep blocking you!

Reply:If you really need it for school use ask the school's administrator to unblock it for you.
Otherwise wait till you get home. The school has blocked access because they don't want you using their kit for accessing orkut. If you find a way through their block and they become aware of it (if they are sensible they log *all* traffic and review the logs) they are within their rights to refuse you any access to their computer equipment or to exclude you from the school.
Do you need Orkut so much you would risk exclusion?

In order to find out the friends online, it better to look for those small circle below your friends. If its green then that means your friend is online in GTalk. Cheapest way, buy a hallmark card that has the song you want when you open it. Mount the card between the album first page and the cover so that when you open the album, you open the card. This also would work with one of those "record your voice and message" first cards, then it plays a song.

The cookie function is on but doesn't mean the site was blocked by your browser to store cookie. Look into your browser setting and see if you have set those websites as always blocked.
Also, download another browser like firefox or Chrome to see if you get the same problem.

How to stop receiving immoral-content messages in ORKUT?
My ORKUT profile is receiving such messages from several members. These members' messages come with a pretty much sexy model picture with a blurred face. I'm unable to understand why when checking if they belong to my communities, as mentioned in the message header, that community doesn't list that member name!
Looks like the sender found a way to escape being removed by ORKUT for violation of its rules regarding messages with this type content. If so impossible to denounce this sender for abuse to Orkut?

1. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL and go to the processes tab
2. Look for svchost.exe under the image name. There will be many but look for the ones which have your username under the username
3. Press DEL to kill these files. It will give you a warning, Press Yes
4. Repeat for more svchost.exe files with your username and repeat. Do not kill svchost.exe with system, local service or network service!
5. Now open My Computer
6. In the address bar, type C:\heap41a and press enter. It is a hidden folder, and is not visible by default.
7. Delete all the files here
8. Now go to Start --%26gt; Run and type Regedit
9. Go to the menu Edit --%26gt; Find
10. Type "heap41a" here and press enter. You will get something like this "[winlogon] C:\heap41a\svchost.exe C:\heap(some number)\std.txt"
11. Select that and Press DEL. It will ask "Are you sure you wanna delete this value", click Yes
12. Now close the registry editor.
Now the virus is gone. But be sure to delete the autorun.inf file and any folder whose name ends with .exe in the pen drive.
Use Avast AV to detect n clean the same too..

If you have a good knowledge of Java and C++ then you can design orkut application withouts facing any diffculty .But there must be a proper planning before you go to design an orkut apps.Orkut is approving and disapprovinng hundred of apps every day , Taking in care all these you must desing such an applicatio that is friendy and useful to orkut Users.Follow below guide to design yours orkut application.
To design an Orkut application you need to be the member of Orkut Sandbox ( this is necesssary for testing yours application before you publish ) If you dont have sandbox account then apply for Orkut Sandbox [ Here ] After 48 Hours you can access yours Orkut Sandbox.
The second part is to design XML Code for yours Orkut application ,You can design application using Google Gadgets Editors ( always Log in with yours Gmail accout while using this editor to save yours work under yrs email account ) Google Gadgets Editors (GGE) lets you edit gadget specs and click Preview to see the live results of your changes, without even leaving the Developer Guide. You can also use GGE to save, host, and publish gadgets.
If you have no knowledge of orkut apps code then you can test this using already designed code provided by open social mention just above Google Gadgets Editors
After desinging and saveing yours code in Xml format you have to submit yours application but before you go for submitting you need to test it ,to check whether it is properly working or not. To check this log in to yours orkut sandbox account using Sandbox.Orkut.Com
On left side of Orkut Apps click on Edit Buttom you will be redirected to apps testing page put yours application xml url click on add buttom and there after test yrs application
Last but the most import part after designing orkut application is submiting it to orkut for approval ,you can submit yours application directly from yours orkut application page or by using www.orkut.com/AppDirectorySubmit.aspx
After completing all above steps for designing editing testing and submitting orkut application you are left with only approval part which is done by orkut . So wait atleat 24 to 48 hours for approval it may take more time also ,Orkut will notify you about yours application approval through email you have mention inside yours application code.
