How to join a community in orkut?.........first one gets 10 points!!!!?

i want to join a community in orkut. but i dont see how? can anyone plz give me instructions clearly.

Hi,


when you login to orkut, you'll see a link on the top "Communities" , when you click it, on the right hand side of the page you'll get a list of communities by category,If you know the community name or a word close to it, you can even search for it.


Once you find the community you want to join, click on the community link.


On the community page , there is a link "Join" , this is on the left hand side below the comunity name/logo.





and you'll see the community in ur communities list.





One more thing.. if the community is mederated then sometimes the moderator has to approve your join request.

Reply:1.Log in in your Orkut Account using Orkut Login, or Google Account.


2.Click on the link named Communities on the top of the page.


3.Then, in the field named Search by name, type the name of the Community which you want to join.


4.If you don't know the name of the Community you want to join, then click on any of the link below the field, which is named under [Browse Categories].


5.Sometimes, the Browse Categories option does not work, so it is better to keep on trying the names of the communities.


6.If a community, you want to join appears in the results, click on its name (which is displayed as a link), or its picture.


7.You will be redirected to the Community Page.


8.There would be a button named as 'Join' on the left side of the page, click on it.


9.Then, Orkut will ask again for the confirmation, click on the 'Join' again.


10.If the community's Status would be 'Public', then you are done. You have joined the community successfully, and you can create topics, start posting in that community, and if the Message to All community Members option would be active you can use 'Send Message' button on the left side of the button to send a message to all community members.


11.If the community's Status would be 'Moderated', that means the owner of the community will receive the Community Join Request, and you have to wait until he/she accepts your request.
Reply:click on the link of a community..then there will be lot of options below the community picture..there is an option called join..click on it...keep rocking orkut!!!
Reply:first go to my communities icon n then search for the community by typing its name (ex:Ashley tisdale)
